In light of the special requirements and environments for the use of medical equipment, there are more rigorous requirements for the safety and reliability of medical power products. With the scale of China\u2019s medical equipment market jumping to second place in the global marketplace after the United States, in order to satisfy market needs, the certification agencies in China are actively developing and launching medical power related certificates. Asian Power Devices was honored with China\u2019s first \u201cMedical Electrical Equipment Power Supply Safety and Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification\u201d issued by the CQC recently. This important milestone not only shows how much APD values product quality and user safety, it also highlighted its leading position in the medical power supply market.<\/p>\n

The CQC launched the medical electrical equipment power supply safety and electromagnetic compatibility certificate in May of 2023, applicable to the power supply of medical electrical equipment, mainly the power adapters and built-in power supplies that provide power for medical electrical equipment. This certification is mainly based on China\u2019s national standard GB 9706.1-2020 \u201cMedical electrical equipment – Part 1: General requirements for basic safety and essential performance\u201d and YY 9706.102-2021 \u201cMedical electrical equipment Part 1-2: General requirements for basic safety and essential performance Collateral standard: Electromagnetic compatibility Requirements and tests\u201d. This certification has great significance for standardizing the market order of power supplies for medical electrical equipment and satisfying customer needs. As China\u2019s national quality certification agency, CQC certificates are highly authoritative and credible. They are important credentials for obtaining legal sales qualifications in China\u2019s market. During its research on the medical electrical equipment power supply safety and electromagnetic compatibility certification, CQC organized a technical review meeting and invited APD as a technical review member. This undoubtedly is an affirmation of APD\u2019s technical leadership position in the medical power supply field.<\/p>\n
