SBTi Net Zero Emissions Target

On June 26, 2025, Asian Power Devices Inc. officially received validation of its near-term, long-term, and net-zero targets from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), confirming that our carbon reduction strategy aligns with the 1.5°C pathway and advances toward our vision of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

Our Targets:

  • Near-Term Target (by 2032): Reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 50.4% compared with the base year of 2023; reduce specific Scope 3 categories (Category 1: Purchased goods and services, Category 9: Downstream transportation and distribution, and Category 11: Use of Sold Products) by 42%.
  • Long-Term Target (by 2050): Reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 90% compared with the base year of 2023; reduce specific Scope 3 categories (Category 1: Purchased Goods and Services, Category 9: Downstream Transportation and Distribution, and Category 11: Use of sold products) by 90%.
  • Overall Net Zero Goal: Achieve net zero emissions across the entire value chain by 2050.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to advance low-carbon product procurement.
  • Integrate low-carbon principles into product design.
  • Regularly disclose annual progress on carbon reduction to ensure transparency.
