It is difficult to completely avoid the AC ripple passing through the transformer to the secondary side, causing fluctuations in output ripple current or voltage. Among them, the ripple current is one of the key causes behind the strobe generation. The ripple current still remains as an AC component after rectification and filtering. When the ripple current is superimposed on the DC, it has different frequencies and curves. The AC component causes fluctuations to the power of the LED module, which in turn causes changes in brightness, resulting in strobe.
